By accessing and using ChitSheet (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this Service.

2. Description of Service

ChitSheet provides a web-based editor for formatting, compressing, and exporting text into dense, printable layouts (cheat sheets). The Service is provided "as is" and is free of charge.

3. Local Storage & Data Loss

All data, text, and project information entered into ChitSheet is stored locally in your web browser. We do not store your data on our servers.

  • You are solely responsible for backing up your data (e.g., by exporting as PDF or TXT).
  • We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from clearing your browser cache, using incognito/private browsing modes, or device failure.

4. Appropriate Use & Academic Integrity

ChitSheet is a formatting tool designed to help organize study materials. You agree to use the Service in compliance with your school, university, or institution's academic integrity policies.

We are not responsible for disciplinary actions, failed exams, or any other consequences resulting from bringing unauthorized cheat sheets into an examination environment.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights and ownership to the text and content you input into the Service. We do not claim any ownership over your notes.

The ChitSheet name, logo, code, and design are the intellectual property of the ChitSheet creators and may not be copied or repurposed without permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the Service or its exports. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ChitSheet or its creators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will indicate at the top of this page the date these terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
